Rev. Camille D. Brown, Director of Christian Education at Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Rev. Brown answered the call to Christian Ministry, and after graduating from Ashland Theological Seminary was Licensed and Ordained at Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church, where the Rev. Dr. Jeremiah B. Pryce was the Pastor.
She currently serves as an Associate Minister, and oversees the Youth, Children and Sunday School Ministries.
She is a member of the Cleveland Baptist Association Board of Trustees, The Cleveland Baptist Association Department of Ministry and Vice President of the Ministers Council of the Cleveland Baptist Association. Rev. Brown is currently serving as an At-Large Director, for the American Baptist Churches/USA, Board of General Ministries, representing the Cleveland Region. She also serves on the ABC-USA, Board of General Ministries Executive Committee. She has been a workshop leader and speaker at a number of Conferences and Christian Education Events.

Rev. Yvonne B. Carter is the Executive Minister of the Cleveland Baptist Association.
Rev. Carter has been an active member of a CBA church since 1989, serving in many capacities over the years. In addition to local church service, she has served as a member of the CBA Board of Trustees; Chairperson of the Christian Education Department and for three years as the Executive Director of CBA’s youth at risk intervention initiative, the Youth Empowerment Project. In that capacity, she worked with CBA pastors and volunteers who were members of almost every CBA church who came together to provide hundreds of hours of service and support to help more than 70 young adults turn their lives around.
After careers in the corporate and not-for-profit sectors, Rev. Carter was licensed to the ministry at Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church in 1995 and, after graduating from Ashland Theological Seminary, was ordained by CBA in 1998 as an American Baptist minister. Since that time, she has had the opportunity to be involved with the broader American Baptist Family as a member of the ABC USA national staff since 2001, serving first as a Partner in Discipleship Ministry with the former Board of Educational Ministries and most recently as a member of the management team of the American Baptist Home Mission Societies (formerly National Ministries).
Rev. Sandra Alexander-Haynes, Ph. D, Associate Minster
Reverend Sandra Alexander-Haynes, Ph. D serves as an Associate Minister at Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church where she is also the Chairperson of The Christian Education Committee and Children’s Ministry Leader. In 2016, she was ordained at Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Rev. Dr. Jeremiah B. Pryce. Currently, a student at the ABC-Ohio Leadership Academy, she has a thirst for Biblical knowledge and a passion for teaching and preaching God’s Word. Since joining Grace Tabernacle, her blessings include being given the opportunity to share the gospel, facilitate workshops (as part of the Grace Tabernacle Institute for Christian Growth), conduct new membership classes, and teach Bible Study and Sunday School.
Beyond her local church focus, Reverend Alexander-Haynes has been a guest speaker and teacher at various churches in the greater Cleveland area. She was especially blessed to have been a guest speaker for the Annual World Day of Prayer for American Baptist Women Ministries.
She received a Ph. D. in Urban Education in 1997 from Cleveland State University. Reverend Alexander-Haynes has also served as a School Psychologist for over 30 years and as an adjunct professor at several local Colleges and Universities. A scripture that she finds inspirational and comforting is “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “(Lamentations 3:23-24).
Don Hodell Chilcote is our pianist and musician here at Grace. He facilitates our singers, and instrumentalists to be at their best giving glory to God through deep moving songs. His main scriptures that continues to inspire him are, finding the ‘Peace that passes all understanding, will guard your minds, whatever is noble pure and true’, Phillipians 4:7-8 ‘, ‘Whatever you have done for the least of these, you have done unto me,’ Mathew 25:40, ‘Love is patience, Love is kind,’ 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Don has a Masters in Music in composition from the Ohio state University, and teaches piano, guitar, and voice throughout the east side of Cleveland, giving semi-annual recitals at Fairmount Presbyterian church. He is a published composer at sheetmusicplus.com, as well as various I-tunes, and Youtube submissions. He sings in two Chorale ensembles of over 50 members with Western Reserve Chorale, and Choral Arts. He grew up and currently lives in Cleveland Heights. He attended University School, a preparatory high school. He graduated from The University of Rochester, with a BA in biology, minor in business, and minor in Music. When not teaching, compositing, or practicing, he can be found watching concerts at the Cleveland Institute Of Music, or hiking and biking. He enjoys photography and finding and discovering this beautiful world that God has made.
